Hi everybody, I came here after Cat's birthday to continue a conversation we were having, and found no appropriate group to post in, so I'll post here, along with this question:
How would you feel about adding a section on the forum for talking about interests and/or idle chatter? We'd only need one or two new sections for now because there aren't that many people here.
As for what we were talking about, there were a couple of things.. The Apple //e emulator can be downloaded from
http://applewin.berlios.de/ and the apple II software archive is at

As for the wireless internet, laptops work OK with the AP, so the software's configured correctly. I've taken a couple out for a walk, with varying results. The AP has two 12-18 dBi antenna's, however due to it also acting as a switch, it cannot be moved.
In addition to this, I've tried using a detachable 7 dBi from the other end (30 meters away) but there's no signal whatsoever. I think what it's really going to take is a proper wireless adapter with better antenna's at both ends.
