Hello again everyone,
Did you realize the Werribee Asperger Support Group has been going for a whole year? Meeting monthly that must mean about 12 get togethers. So well done to Catriona for doing the organizing and to Chris to get this web site up and running and keeping it going.
I have been to about 4 of the dinners and have really enjoyed meeting new people and hearing their stories.
There does seem to be a bit of an issue over the venue for the dinners. My observation is that there have not been as many people coming to Laverton.
I also observe that commentary on this Forum is a bit slower than at first.
We also need to think about whether the Werribee group links in formally with ASSN.
So where are we at? How do we all contribute to take this initiative by Catriona forward so it gives something to everyone that needs it?
Are social dinner get to
gethers enough or are more formal activities with guest speakers needed?
